As many of you will know, we sadly lost our much loved Chairman, friend, husband, uncle, brother, J. Alexander Patrick, in April 2020, after a short battle with cancer. The sadness was further extended when his widow, M. Valerie Patrick, also passed away in February 2021. Alex and Val had been at the forefront of the Patrick Trust for over forty years, and to lose them both, so close together, will leave a lasting emptiness. Obviously the Patrick Trust will continue, and the trustees will keep in mind the projects and interests that Alex and Val held dear. The ability to do this if further enhanced by both Alex and Val leaving the majority of their estates to The Patrick Trust.
